Free Lesson Plans for Teachers, K-12

Teacher.org's lesson plans are free, and you don't need an account to use one. Each lesson lists its grade level and running time, then gives you the objective, the materials, a full procedure with an opening and a closing, and an assessment. Every one can be printed or downloaded. Browse by subject or grade.

Every lesson here was written by a working K-12 teacher, and the byline names them. You get the whole thing on one page: what students should be able to do by the end, what you need to gather, and a procedure broken into an opening, a body, and a closing. There's a print and download button on each one, so you can take it into class on paper.

Nothing is gated. These are free lesson plans for teachers, with no subscription, no sign-up, and no paywall.

The collection is organized two ways. Browse by subject if you're filling a gap in a unit: arts, environmental, math, P.E., science, or social studies. Browse by grade if you need something you can run on Monday, from kindergarten through 12th grade.

The section grows as teachers send in their own work. If you've built something that worked in your classroom, contact us and we'll add it.
